About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Blistering Operator to join our dynamic pharmaceutical packaging department and maintain our high standards of production excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Operate blister packaging machines efficiently according to approved Standard Operating Procedures and batch packing instructions.
- Ensure proper feeding of tablets or capsules into blister cavities while monitoring forming temperature, sealing pressure, and machine speed.
- Perform routine in-process checks to verify blister integrity, seal quality, product appearance, and accurate batch coding.
- Monitor packaging lines to prevent product mix-ups, reduce material wastage, and promptly identify packaging defects.
- Perform thorough equipment cleaning and line clearance before and after every packaging operation.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, rejected blisters, and packaging material usage in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Minimum of one year of relevant work experience operating blister packaging machines within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Practical knowledge of blister packaging operations for tablets and capsules, including familiarity with PVC/PVDC films and aluminium lidding foil.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, safety protocols, and hygiene requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary production team.
