Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured Biology lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
- Develop and administer assessments, tests, and examinations to evaluate student progress.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance.
- Organise and supervise practical laboratory sessions to reinforce theoretical concepts.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to design interdisciplinary learning experiences.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school development programmes.
- Enforce classroom discipline and uphold the school's code of conduct.
- Guide students in developing critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- M.Sc, B.Ed, or B.Sc with PGDE in Biology or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven teaching experience, preferably at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian education curriculum and examination standards.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners.
