About the Role
Beacon Power Services has been on the forefront of developing energy management software and providing energy analytics in Nigeria since 2010. We are looking for a strategic and outcome-driven Bilingual (FR/ENG) Manager or Senior Manager – Product Management to own and scale the product strategy for our software portfolio. This role goes beyond backlog execution, allowing you to shape what we build, why we build it, and how it positions us as a leader in Africa’s energy transformation.
Key Responsibilities- Define and own the product vision, strategic direction, and portfolio roadmap aligned with company growth objectives.
- Drive product-market fit through deep market research, customer engagement, and competitive intelligence.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Commercial, and Operations to deliver high-quality, scalable releases.
- Define and own product KPIs, OKRs, and value-realization metrics leveraging usage data and customer feedback.
- Manage departmental budgets, strategic resource allocation, and team development frameworks.
- Product management experience within SaaS, enterprise software, or complex technology environments.
- Bilingual fluency in both French (FR) and English (ENG) is strictly required.
- Strong command of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) with proven experience defining multi-quarter roadmaps.
- Data-driven decision-maker with exceptional technical fluency to engage confidently with Engineering leadership.
- Experience within energy, utilities, infrastructure, or cleantech sectors is considered a strong advantage.
