About the Role
Beacon Power Services has been at the forefront of developing innovative energy management software and providing advanced energy analytics in Nigeria since 2010. We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Bilingual French and English Associate in Product Management to help shape and deliver our robust product portfolio for utilities across Africa. In this dynamic role, you will analyze operational data, translate business needs into clear requirements, and support software deployments for an assigned module while collaborating closely with our engineering, commercial, and strategy teams.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct user and market research, gathering and summarizing client feedback and improvement requests for roadmap planning.
- Coordinate requirements definition, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria for assigned product modules.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and QA teams to clarify requirements, review delivered features, and ensure release readiness.
- Maintain comprehensive product documentation and support implementation teams by answering product questions during deployments.
- Track deployment-related issues, follow up with technical teams, and document user requests for continuous product improvement.
- Professional experience in product management or a related function within SaaS, enterprise software, or tech environments.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban within structured delivery processes.
- Technical fluency to engage confidently with engineering teams during requirements and delivery discussions.
- Complete fluency in both French and English for seamless cross-border communication.
- Strong autonomy, critical thinking, and collaboration skills suited for a hybrid work environment.
- Prior experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, or cleantech sectors is a strong plus.
