We are currently looking for a talented, charismatic, and experienced Bartender to join our vibrant team at our Peter Odili location in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Key Responsibilities- Greet guests warmly, take drink orders accurately, and make menu recommendations based on preferences.
- Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and established bar standards.
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, including washing glassware, wiping down counters, and restocking ice and supplies.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations, sanitation guidelines, and company safety policies.
- Proven work experience as a Bartender in a reputable lounge, hotel, or restaurant.
- Extensive knowledge of classic cocktails, mixology techniques, and beverage preparation.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by business needs.
- Relevant certifications in hospitality, mixology, or food safety will be an added advantage.
