We are currently looking for a passionate and driven Baking Intern to join our talented kitchen team in Ikate, Lagos. Key Responsibilities- Assist the head baker in the daily preparation, mixing, and baking of various breads, pastries, and cakes.
- Ensure all workstation areas, baking equipment, and ovens are kept clean, sanitized, and organized.
- Measure and weigh flour, sugar, and other baking ingredients according to precise recipes.
- Monitor baking processes to ensure products meet the highest quality and presentation standards.
- Help with the packaging and labeling of finished baked goods for service or retail.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines within the kitchen.
- Perform other kitchen support duties as assigned by the head chef or lead baker.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical baking experience or culinary training.
- Reside on Lagos Island or its immediate environs for ease of commute.
- Female candidates are preferred for this role.
- Strong passion for baking and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive, eager-to-learn attitude.
