About the Role
Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, a leading indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturing group founded in 1984, is looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to drive the reliability and continuous improvement of our factory's electrical and automation systems. In this role, you will ensure the optimal performance of our production equipment, utilities, control systems, and instrumentation to support flawless manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop control systems and instrumentation for manufacturing processes, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming.
- Maintain and optimize electrical and automatic control systems for processing units, packaging lines, and HVAC systems.
- Monitor system performance and perform root-cause analysis on automated equipment failures to minimize Mean Time to Repair.
- Implement and manage industrial networks such as Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Modbus to ensure secure and reliable data flow.
- Maintain backups, version control, and comprehensive documentation including schematics, panel layouts, control logic, and SOPs.
- Lead automation upgrade projects by managing technical budgets, timelines, and vendor deliverables effectively.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical control, instrumentation, and automation systems within a manufacturing, FMCG, or pharmaceutical environment.
- Proficiency in PLC platforms including Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Schneider, alongside SCADA systems.
- Hands-on experience with pneumatics, sensors, actuators, VFDs, and servo-motion control.
