Misters of Nigeria, one of the country's leading male pageant brands, is looking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Auditor / Accountant to join its growing team in Lagos. As the organisation continues to expand, it seeks a competent Auditor / Accountant to strengthen its financial operations and support sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial records and statements
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
- Monitor income, expenditure, and budget allocations for events and organisational activities
- Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies in financial transactions
- Prepare periodic financial reports for management review
- Ensure timely remittance of taxes and statutory deductions
- Support the planning and financial management of pageant events and programmes
- Recommend improvements to financial processes and internal controls
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies as required
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling company finances
- A relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage
- Proven experience in auditing, accounting, or financial management
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
