About the Role
ECOM Agroindustrial Corp Limited, a world-leading soft commodity services group specialising in coffee, cocoa, and cotton, is looking for a dynamic Assistant IT Manager to join our operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will manage and support our organizational IT infrastructure, business applications, IT service delivery, and technology projects while ensuring compliance with global IT policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with Group IT policies, security guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, servers, and network infrastructure including firewalls and switches.
- Oversee the IT Service Management (ITSM) platform, monitoring support ticket resolution and team efficiency in accordance with SLAs.
- Coordinate IT infrastructure and business application projects, facilitating User Acceptance Testing and change management.
- Maintain IT asset inventories, manage vendor relationships, and assist in preparing IT budgets.
- Support IT security initiatives, disaster recovery planning, and periodic system audits.
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Professional IT certifications such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, or ITIL Foundation are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 2 years in a senior support or supervisory capacity.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Active Directory, server architectures, VLAN management, IP routing, and enterprise firewalls.
