About the Role
Baker Hughes, a global leader in energy technology, is seeking a dedicated Assembly Repair Maintenance Overhaul (ARMO) Engineer to join our dynamic wireline services workshop team in Nigeria. In this critical engineering role, you will provide essential technical guidance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the highest standards of equipment reliability and safety across our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Support the ARMO Manager and workshop operations with advanced engineering expertise and technical guidance.
- Manage calibration activities for tools, equipment, and instruments to meet strict manufacturer specifications.
- Develop, control, and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance plans for all workshop assets.
- Drive Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement projects aligned with global ARMO standards.
- Ensure uncompromising compliance with Health, Safety, Security, Environment (HSSE) and quality policies.
- Promote 6S methodology standards to maintain a safe, highly organized, and efficient workplace environment.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in ARMO, manufacturing, industrial operations, or maintenance environments.
- Strong working knowledge of equipment reliability, asset management, and tool calibration principles.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
