Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC is looking for a dedicated and skilled Application Support Officer to join our vibrant team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the seamless operation of our electronic and digital channels, ensuring they remain highly available, secure, and user-friendly for our diverse clientele around the clock.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure 24/7 availability and usability of all electronic, digital, and software applications within the designated production environment.
- Provide actionable business insights and foresights through advanced script writing and user-interpretable business intelligence tools.
- Resolve technical issues, troubleshoot complex software problems, and maintain optimal system performance, security, and stability.
- Support seamless system upgrades and actively monitor application health to guarantee smooth and efficient business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute robust testing protocols including unit, regression, and integration testing.
- First Degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on application support experience specifically within the financial services sector.
- Professional certifications such as MS SQL, Advanced Scripting, AIX/Unix/Ubuntu, .NET programming, or equivalent are a strong added advantage.
- Demonstrated technical competencies in database administration, continuous deployment, business continuity, and project management.
