We are currently looking for a talented Application Security Engineer to join our growing team in Nigeria and ensure the highest standards of security across our web and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and authorized penetration testing of mobile apps, backend services, and REST APIs.
- Evaluate authentication mechanisms, session management, token handling, and access control processes.
- Test for common application vulnerabilities including the OWASP Top 10 and OWASP API Security Top 10.
- Rate vulnerabilities using CVSS and prepare detailed technical reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to validate findings, recommend remediation, and conduct retesting.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience in application security.
- Demonstrated expertise in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and secure software development.
- Proficiency with security tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, and Postman.
- Strong understanding of encryption, cryptographic risks, and secure token management.
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, GWAPT, or CEH are a strong plus.
