About the Role
Eko Maintenance Limited is a rapidly growing facility management company specializing in the maintenance of high-rise building facilities, with our office located in Victoria Island, Lagos. We are currently seeking a skilled, experienced, and dedicated Air Conditioning (AC) Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal climate control and air quality across our residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities- Install, service, repair, and maintain various air conditioning systems efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in AC units promptly.
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Inspect AC systems and identify potential problems before breakdowns occur.
- Check refrigerant levels, perform precise leak detection, and execute necessary repairs.
- Clean and maintain filters, coils, condensers, and other critical AC components.
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns across facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, parts replacements, and repairs.
- Ensure all engineering work strictly complies with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional work experience as an AC Technician.
- Possession of an HND, B.Sc, or B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant technical certificate or diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
- Extensive knowledge of split units, cassette units, central AC, and VRF/VRV systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical components, compressors, thermostats, and refrigerants.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced maintenance team.
