About the Role
ECOM Agroindustrial Corp Limited is a world-leading soft commodity services group specializing in coffee, cocoa, and cotton. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant for MIS and Central Reporting to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will own the Management Information System (MIS) and central reporting for our West Africa entities, transforming operational and accounting data into accurate, timely reports that drive our agri-commodity export business.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update central MIS workbooks and dashboards tracking purchases, stock, sales, shipments, production, and cash.
- Collect, validate, and standardize daily and weekly data from entity, procurement, warehouse, and plant teams.
- Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily flash reports, including commodity purchases, stock positions, and shipment schedules.
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reconcile MIS figures to the general ledger, track supplier advances, and monitor inventory valuation.
- Implement data automation using advanced Excel, Power Query, or Power BI to reduce manual workloads and enhance reporting efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field with a minimum of Second Class Upper or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates with exceptional Excel skills or candidates with 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting, audit, MIS, or financial reporting are encouraged to apply.
- Progress toward professional qualifications such as ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, ICAG, or CPA is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in agri-commodities, FMCG, manufacturing, or export trading environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or major accounting systems like SAP, Sage, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
