About the Role
Kejie's Hotels and Suites is expanding its operations in Ikom, Cross River State, and we are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Accountant / Cashier to join our vibrant finance team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling daily cash transactions, and ensuring adherence to company financial policies. Key Responsibilities- Manage daily front-office cashiering duties, including processing guest check-ins, check-outs, and settling bills accurately.
- Reconcile daily transactions, cash floats, POS terminals, and other payment gateways with the hotel management system.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and books of accounts in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, including revenue summaries and expenditure logs for management review.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, payroll processing, and internal audit procedures.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently while maintaining vendor and customer relationships.
- Ensure strict adherence to financial security protocols and minimize cash discrepancies or financial risks.
- Minimum of an OND, HND, or B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proven work experience as an Accountant, Cashier, or similar financial role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and hotel management systems.
- Strong numerical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail and high levels of personal integrity.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Ikom, Cross River State is required.
