About the Role
Wangarau Foods, a leading provider of clean, well-packaged, and reliable food delivery solutions, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Accountant & Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in maintaining our financial health while simultaneously leading our sales initiatives to expand our market reach among corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and internal financial controls.
- Reconcile bank statements, payment platforms, and daily cash transactions.
- Prepare monthly profit and loss reports, cash-flow statements, and management accounts.
- Monitor stock values, product costs, production expenses, and supplier balances.
- Support payroll processing, tax filings, statutory compliance, and audit preparations.
- Lead the sales team in targeting hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, caterers, and institutional buyers.
- Convert qualified leads into paying corporate customers through compelling proposals and negotiations.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts and distribution partners to secure repeat business.
- Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience combining accounting and B2B sales or business development.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and standard accounting software.
- Strong expertise in financial reconciliations, product costing, and management reporting.
- Demonstrated success in leading sales teams, winning accounts, and driving revenue growth.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management abilities.
