About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join Alfred & Victoria Associates, one of Nigeria's premier ICT solution providers. In this pivotal role, you will manage comprehensive financial operations, maintain accurate accounting records, and ensure full compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies. Your expertise will directly support our organization's financial stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting documentation
  • Process daily financial transactions including receipts, payments, and journal entries with precision
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and comprehensive reports
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts
  • Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and ensure departmental budget adherence
  • Analyze financial data and provide actionable recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements
  • Monitor hospital revenue, patient billing, insurance claims, and collections management
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and maintaining proper filing systems
  • Assist in payroll processing and vendor invoice management
  • Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and inventory-related financial transactions

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 3–5 years' experience as an Accountant, preferably in healthcare or hospital settings
  • Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, ICAN) is advantageous
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Familiarity with healthcare billing systems and insurance claims management preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information

Working Arrangement
  • Monday to Saturday (Saturday is half-day)
  • Public Holidays observed as half-day working days
