About the Role
Gemstone Factory, a leader in premium bottled water production, is seeking a qualified Accountant to join our Finance team. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of quality and purity in everything we do. As our Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our company's continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial records
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Manage taxation compliance and prepare tax-related documentation
- Conduct monthly and quarterly financial reconciliations
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping across all financial operations
- HND or B.Sc. in Accounting or a related field
- 1–3 years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and bookkeeping practices
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) is an advantage
