About the Role

Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day general ledger operations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable across all business units.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant standards.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and daily sales reports from our supermarkets and hospitality outlets.
- Assist in the preparation of company budgets, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with statutory tax obligations, including VAT, Company Income Tax, and PAYE remittances.
- Coordinate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and financial schedules.
- Implement and maintain robust internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within retail, FMCG, or hospitality sectors.
- Professional certification or active progression toward ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
