About the Role
Culture Kitchen, a renowned cultural-themed restaurant located in the heart of Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team. Since opening in late 2024, we have captivated guests with our authentic Eastern Nigerian cuisine and immersive village atmosphere. We are seeking a financial professional who can maintain our high standards of financial integrity while supporting our continued growth in the bustling Lagos hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions accurately.
- Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Monitor inventory levels, reconcile daily restaurant sales, and manage cash flow operations.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian tax laws, statutory deductions, and financial regulations.
- Coordinate with management to develop budgets, cost controls, and financial forecasts.
- Maintain organized financial records and assist with internal and external audit processes.
- BSc, HND, or relevant professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality or food and beverage sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical skills, high attention to detail, and absolute integrity.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities suited for a fast-paced environment.
