We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing finance team in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in accounting software.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Process invoices, payments, and employee expense claims.
- Support payroll preparation and statutory deductions where required.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Prepare documentation for audits and liaise with auditors when necessary.
- Maintain highly organized financial records and digital filing systems.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of professional accounting or finance experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and popular accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho.
- Basic knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations and tax principles.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks autonomously.
