About the Role

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Record daily financial transactions accurately, manage accounts payable and receivable, and perform regular bank statement reconciliations.
- Prepare comprehensive balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and periodic financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Assist leadership in preparing budget forecasts and tracking financial performance against organizational goals and KPIs.
- Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure strict adherence to local Nigerian financial policies, tax regulations, and IFRS accounting standards.
- Organize critical financial documents and actively support both internal and external audit processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a relevant business discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of proven professional accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and financial modeling.
- Hands-on experience with popular accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or FreshBooks.
- Professional certification such as ACA, CPA, or ACCA is a strong added advantage.
