We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Accountant to join our expanding team in Abuja and Lagos. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining financial integrity, supporting operational growth, and providing our management team with accurate, actionable financial insights to drive business success.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and comprehensive bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate budgets, financial statements, and detailed management reports to guide business strategy.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax laws and other relevant statutory requirements.
- Support the monthly payroll process and oversee the efficient handling of staff expense reports.
- Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, banking partners, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor cash flow patterns and reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain optimal liquidity.
- Advise executive management on prudent financial decisions and cost-optimization strategies.
- Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of proven mid-level accounting experience in a structured corporate environment.
- Professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in modern accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical skills, high attention to detail, and strong ethical standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
