About the Role

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to oversee our financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, strategic cost analysis, and strict regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial records, including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations in compliance with accounting standards.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on costs associated with operational activities, inventory costing, and sales.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgeting forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian tax laws, VAT, payroll taxes, and corporate tax obligations.
- Implement internal financial processes, controls, and risk management strategies to optimize company resources.
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA is highly preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of proven accounting experience, with specific exposure to cost accounting within a spa, salon, or cafe services environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations.
