About the Role
Roxbury Leisure Homes is a leading real estate development company dedicated to constructing affordable housing for average-income families in Lagos and across Nigeria. We are expanding our finance team and looking for a meticulous, reliable Accountant to help maintain financial integrity as we scale our operations in the thriving Nigerian property market.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, income statements, and regular expense summaries.
- Monitor daily cash flow, financial transactions, and company expenditures closely.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements and various general ledger accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, receipts, and vendor payments.
- Assist management with annual budgeting, tax documentation, and overall financial compliance.
- Ensure proper auditing and physical or digital documentation of all monetary transactions.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proven professional work experience in corporate accounting or financial auditing roles.
- Solid understanding of Nigerian accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and popular enterprise accounting software.
