About the Role
White Soul Motors Ltd, a subsidiary of White Soul Investment Ltd, is a premier automobile sales and maintenance company with a robust 19-year track record of excellence in Nigeria and the United States. We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining financial integrity, managing cash flows, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations to support our continued business expansion.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare timely imprest reports and verify that all payment requests have appropriate approvals.
- Ensure all imprest expenses are properly captured, documented, and accurately posted into the Sage accounting system.
- Manage float levels to prevent depletion and perform regular physical cash reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit client invoices while actively following up to ensure prompt payments and accurate account reconciliation.
- Ensure timely computation and remittance of statutory payments such as VAT and PAYE.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly productivity reports and adhere strictly to company financial policies.
- Minimum of a B.Sc. Degree in Accounting or a related discipline; professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- At least 5 years of proven professional experience in an accounting or financial role.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software, specifically Sage, and excellent data management capabilities.
