Key Responsibilities- Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements and budget performance.
- Monitor income and expenses while reconciling bank statements and company accounts regularly.
- Prepare accurate payroll schedules and ensure full statutory compliance.
- Handle tax documentation and liaise professionally with relevant Nigerian regulatory bodies.
- Track receivables and payables to ensure optimal cash flow management.
- Maintain proper documentation and systematic filing of all financial records.
- Support internal and external audit processes seamlessly.
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of proven accounting experience within a structured business environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Wave.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and financial reporting.
- Solid understanding of Nigerian accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ethical soundness.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or an equivalent body is a strong added advantage.
