About the Role
Benid Industries Limited, an established Nigerian manufacturing leader in alcoholic beverages since 2009, is seeking a dedicated and analytical Account Officer to join our finance team at our headquarters in Ugbe-Akoko, Ondo State. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial health of our growing manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and budgets to aid management decision-making.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal financial controls, company policies, and Nigerian tax regulations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to track inventory, production costs, and operational expenses.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and financial schedules.
- Handle invoicing, payroll processing, and expense tracking efficiently using digital accounting tools.
- Minimum of an ND, HND, or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of proven professional experience in accounting or finance-related duties, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- In-process or completed professional certifications (ICAN, ANAN, or equivalent) will be a distinct added advantage.
- Proficiency in industry-standard accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and excellent numerical skills.
