About the Role

Glovo is a pioneering multi-category delivery app operating globally across Europe, Hispanic America, and Africa. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager SMB to join our growing team in Nigeria (Lagos or Abuja). In this exciting role, you will be at the heart of our commercial operations, helping local restaurants and retail partners scale their businesses through our tech-enabled platform. If you are passionate about the tech and food-delivery ecosystem and thrive in a fast-moving, high-impact environment, this is your opportunity to build a rewarding career with one of the world's fastest-growing delivery players.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own an end-to-end portfolio of SMB partners, monitoring key metrics such as orders, GMV, AOV, and overall profitability while building robust account plans for top-performing partners.
  • Drive commercial growth by negotiating commission rates and terms, securing new promotional campaigns, signing up new branches, and upselling Glovo Ads and in-app visibility products.
  • Maintain a high-tempo engagement rhythm through daily partner calls and regular field visits to meet merchants face to face.
  • Utilize data tools like Looker, Google Sheets, and Salesforce to run weekly portfolio reviews, spot market trends, and deliver actionable, data-driven business insights to partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Partner Operations, Live Ops, and Courier Ops to resolve fulfillment bottlenecks, reduce cancellations, and improve preparation and delivery times.
  • Act as the primary voice of the partner internally, sharing valuable market insights to help shape future company campaigns and product rollouts.
  • Protect the overall portfolio health by proactively identifying at-risk partners, managing escalations efficiently, and minimizing churn.
Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in account management, sales, business development, or vendor management within marketplaces, food delivery, fintech, e-commerce, or FMCG.
  • Proven track record of hitting ambitious commercial targets, mastering objection handling, and closing deals successfully with business owners.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM dashboards to drive data-backed decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large portfolio of accounts simultaneously with exceptional organizational discipline and follow-through.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with residency in Lagos or Abuja and a readiness for field operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline is considered a strong advantage.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary package with performance-based incentives.
  • Dynamic, fast-paced, and multicultural startup work environment offering continuous professional growth.
  • Opportunities to make a direct, visible impact on the quick-commerce landscape in Nigeria.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits.
